My heart is a flower of forgiveness.
As I travel more deeply into my work of forgiveness, my heart opens. I understand how much everyone that doesn’t know the flower in their heart is suffering. I give them to their own Higher Power, who will help them open the flower in their heart. I wish the best for them because I want my heart to be open and free of resentment. I water the flower in my own heart.
I have a Big Heart inside of me.
My heart holds an unending source of forgiveness for myself and others. It grows larger and expands the more I forgive. Forgiveness does not mean condoning inappropriate behavior. I am accountable for my behavior as others are for theirs. Forgiveness means I hold a space of largeness that connects me with the understanding of a Power Greater than me. When I don’t understand or my heart is closed, I open it to let my Higher Power make it bigger. My Higher Power lives in my heart. I am free when I live from this place.
I don’t abandon hope. It is easy to get stuck in cynicism and despair and it is hard to stay open. Staying open requires I survive pain and make beauty from it. Staying open means I choose to believe there is a plan for my life that is bigger than I can imagine, and I don’t need to know what it will look like right now. My job is to do the next right thing and not abandon hope. Hope lives in the light in my heart. I don’t abandon my heart. I listen to the quiet murmur of my heart. I don’t abandon hope.
